Eurecna LAB is a multidisciplinary and cross-department team which is focused on gathering innovative solutions and acts as catalyst for new competences to be developed and transferred to:

  • Eurecna existing or new business lines
  • Partners and/or customers that intend to conceive and develop innovative projects in collaboration with Eurecna.


Eurecna LAB mission is to generate added value based on innovation which is synergic with the business of Eurecna.
To achieve this mission we are working internally to consolidate the entire organization and network know how and at the same time we are open to start new collaborations in line with our scopes, offering know how and resources to build the next Innovation from the LAB.

The creation of new interaction paradigms and alternative media conventions, that exploit the new machines’ sensing capabilities and take care of human spontaneous ways to discover the world, is a great challenge for today’s designers; at the same time, interactive technology, in terms of sensors, actuators and narrative intelligence, is still a matter of research for engineers and scientists.

The concept of “Natural Interaction” expressed by Alessandro Valli, iO’s R&D manager, is the definition of a new paradigm, based on the usual ways people interact with objects in the physical space, applied to digital media.

This paradigm is the main vision of iO (http://www.ioagency.com) a company which is innovating the offer of Interaction Design solutions  based on Human Computing Interaction (HCI).

 

Eurecna LAB is collaborating with iO, within the Metadistretto Digitalmediale Veneto (Venetian Digital-media district), in order to study and develop an innovative Business Model between digital contents & providers’ services to enable and accelerate the technology transfer , in the beginning between the members of the District, of the Natural Interaction paradigm and its tangible application into the market.
