Eurecna is awarded the TA to Support the State Aid System in Serbia
Eurecna has been awarded the contract “Technical Assistance to Support the State Aid System in Serbia” funded by the European Union.
The consortium formed by Eurecna, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit GmbH (Germany) and Center for Liberal-Democratic Studies (Serbia) has been awarded the TA contract for assisting Serbia in meeting the requirements of the Stabilisation and Association process in the field of State Aid control and therefore reducing regional growth disparities.
The specific project purposes are the assistance to the Department and the Commission in the implementation of the Law on State Aid control and its relevant by-laws in line with the EU Acquis and the provision of legal advice for the finalisation of the state aid legal framework harmonisation; strengthening of the institutional capacity of the relevant authorities in order to permit them to carry out their activities in line with EU Acquis and practices; increasing awareness on State Aid policy among governmental, judiciary and private sector actors.
